Brewers Lose Again

The Cincinnati Reds dealt the Brewers their 9th loss in the last 10 games with a 5-1 win on Sunday afternoon.  Don Lutz took Wily Peralta deep for a three run homer.  Peralta gave up four runs and five hits in six innings of work to take the loss. Bronson Arroyo was the winner.  The Brewers open up a four game set in Pittsburgh tonight.  Marco Estrada takes on AJ Burnett.  Coverage begins at 5:35pm on KFIZ.

Packers Wrap Up Camp

The Packers wrapped up their rookie orientation camp on Sunday.  Draft picks, undrafted free agents and selected younger players were required to attend the camp.  Mike McCarthy liked what he saw from the young players in what for most of them was their first taste of the NFL.  The entire Packers team will open a mini-camp on June 4th.

 

NBA Playoffs

Golden State outscored San Antonio 13-3 in overtime to notch a 97-87 playoff win on Sunday.  Harrison Barnes scored 26, Jarrett Jack 24 and Stephen Curry 22 in the win for the Warriors.  That series is now tied at 2-2.

Woods Wins TPC

Tiger Woods won The Players Championship for the 2nd time in his career on Sunday.  Woods finished the event at -13, which was two shots better than Kevin Streelman who was at -11.  For Woods hit was his fourth win this season and his   Sergio Garcia took a four-over par 7 on the 17th hole to drop to 8th place.  Steve Stricker and Jerry Kelly ended up tied for 37th at -2.
