The Packers wake
up this morning sitting in 2nd place in the NFC North.  Minnesota
won at Atlanta
20-10 on Sunday.   The Packers have
another short week as they travel to Detroit
on Thursday night.  You’ll hear it on
KFIZ.

 

Sunday night
football saw the New England Patriots fall in Denver 30-24 in overtime for their 1st
loss.  CJ Anderson’s 48 yard run won it
for Denver.  The Carolina Panthers are now the lone
unbeaten team in the NFL at 11-0.

 

Monday Night
Football tonight features Baltimore at Cleveland.

 

The Badger
football team kept Paul Bunyan’s Axe for the 12th straight year with
a 31-21 win at Minnesota
on Saturday.  UW finishes the regular
season at 9-3.  They will find out their
bowl destination on Sunday.   Michigan State
and Iowa will square off on Saturday in the
Big Ten Championship Game at Indianapolis.   Wisconsin
is ranked #25 in both the Coaches and AP College Football Polls.

 

The Badger men’s
basketball team lost at Oklahoma
65-48 on Sunday afternoon.  Nigel Hayes
had 20 points.  The Badgers go to Syracuse on
Wednesday. 

 

Marquette downed Jackson State 80-61 on Sunday afternoon at BMO Harris Bradley Center.  The Golden Eagles host Grambling on Wednesday
night.

 

UW-Green Bay is on the road tonight at Southern
Illinois-Edwardsville.

 

The Bucks lost at
Charlotte 87-82
on Sunday afternoon.  Khris Middleton had
19.  Milwaukee
hosts Denver
tonight.  Coverage begins at 6:40pm on
KFIZ.

 

Lakers star Kobe
Bryant announced via a poem that this season would be his last in the NBA.   Bryant has played his entire 20 year NBA
career with the Lakers.  He’s a 17 time
All-Star
