The Packers and Bears continue their historic rivalry tonight
at Lambeau Field.  Wide receiver James
Jones is listed as questionable for the Packers as he heels up from a knee
injury.   LB Nick Perry is doubtful with
a broken foot.   The Bears will be
without QB Jay Cutler and one of their best defenders Lance Briggs.   The pregame is set for 5pm with the kickoff
at 7:30pm on KFIZ.

 

Around the NFL…KC is 9-0 with a 27-13 win over the Bills…Dallas rallied for a
27-23 win over the Vikings.  Tennessee
beat the Rams 28-21…The Jets stopped New Orleans 26-20…Washington got a 30-24
OT win over San Diego…Carolina thumped the Falcons 34-10…Nick Foles threw 7 TDs
as the Eagles stopped the Raiders 49-20…Seattle beat Tampa Bay 27-24 in OT…The
Browns beat the Ravens 24-18…New England hammered Pittsburgh 55-31. Tom Brady
had 432 yards and 4 TDs.  On Sunday Night
Football, the Colts rallied to beat Houston
27-24.  Texans coach Gary Kubiak fell to
his knees just before halftime and had to be taken off the field on a
stretcher.

 

The Badgers sit at #24 in this week’s BCS standings. They
are #21 in the AP Poll and #22 in the Coaches Poll after a 28-9 win at Iowa.  The Badgers host BYU on Saturday at
2:30pm.  You’ll hear it on KFIZ.

 

Jimmie Johnson won the NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Texas and now leads the
Chase For the Championship by seven points over Matt Kenseth.

 

St. Mary’s Springs advanced to the Division Six football
quarterfinals with a 38-14 win over Deerfield
on Saturday night.  The Ledgers will host
Oshkosh Lourdes next weekend at Fruth. The game will most likely be on Friday
night but that needs to be confirmed today with the WIAA.  WLA say their season come to an end with a
32-13 loss to Kewaunee.  Oakfield rallied
from 20 points down in the 4th quarter to beat Bowler-Gresham 47-46
at the #4 seed game of the 8-Man Football Jamboree on Saturday in
Schofield.
