Packers Survive

The Green Bay Packers didn’t play their best football but still managed a 24-15 win over Jacksonville at Lambeau Field.  With Jordy Nelson, Greg Jennings and John Kuhn all sitting out because of injury, the Packer offense never got on track Sunday.  Aaron Rodgers completed just 22 of 35 passes for 185 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Alex Green ran 22 times for 54 yards.  James Jones caught seven balls for 78 yards.  Donald Driver and Randall Cobb caught TDs.   Davon House blocked a first half punt that was recovered for a touchdown by Dezman Moses.  That was first blocked punt since 2003 and the first blocked punt for a TD since1990 when Tiger Greene had a scoop and score.  The Jaguars actually outgained Green Bay 341-238 on the day.  The win improves the Packers to 5-3 on the season.  They will host Arizona next Sunday before heading into the Bye. Talk Packer football tonight at 6pm on KFIZ during In The Huddle with Bill Scott and Packer TE DJ Williams.
