The Packers
never got in gear Sunday as they fall to the Detroit Lions 19-7 at Ford
Field.  Don Carey picked up an Eddie Lacy
fumble and returned it 40 yards for a score on the Packers 2nd play
and that set the tone for the day.  Green Bay countered as Aaron
Rodgers hit Andrew Quarless on a 10-yard TD and that’s all the offense had in
them the rest of the way.  The Lions
tacked on a safety and a fourth quarter Reggie Bush TD run to seal the
deal.  Rodgers threw for just 162
yards.  James Starks’ 38 yards led the
ground game. Review Sunday’s loss tonight at 6pm during in the Huddle with
David Bahktiari and TJ Lang on KFIZ.  The
Packers drop to 1-2 on the season and they will play at Chicago next Sunday.

The Bears are at
the Jets tonight on Monday Night Football.
You’ll hear it on KFIZ.  Also in
the NFL North, the Vikings lost to the Saints 20-9.

The Brewers
slide continues after they lost 1-0 in Pittsburgh
on Sunday.  Wily Peralta gave up just one
run and 5 hits over seven innings but took the loss.  Milwaukee is
eliminated from the N.L. Central Division race and they fall 4.5 games behind Pittsburgh for the final
Wild Card spot with just six games to go.
So their season is basically over.
They head to Cincinnati
for three games with the Reds starting on Tuesday night.

The Cardinals
clinched a playoff spot for the 11th time in the last 15 years on
Sunday despite losing to the Reds 7-2.
The Cubs lost to the Dodgers 8-5.

Florida State holds steady at #1 in both college
football polls this week.  Wisconsin is #19 in the
AP Poll and #17 in the Coaches Poll.  The
