 The Green Bay Packers were torched through the air by Colin Kaepernick threw for 412 yards and 3 touchdowns as San Francisco ran by the Packers 34-28 on Week 1 of the NFL season.  Anquan Boldin caught 13 of those passes for 208 yards and a touchdown.  Aaron Rodgers threw for 333 yards, 3 TDs and one interception on a Jermichael Finley drop.  Eddie Lacy ran for 41 yards and a touchdown in his Packer debut but an early fumble led to a SF TD.  The Packers will host Washington next Sunday.  You’ll hear it on KFIZ and kfiz.com.

The Badgers moved up in both college football polls after Saturday’s 48-0 win over Tennessee Tech.  Bucky is #20 in the AP poll and #18 in the Coaches Poll.  Alabama is #1 and Oregon is #2 in both polls.  The Badgers travel to Arizona State on Saturday night. 

 

 

The Brewers stopped the Cubs 3-1 on Sunday afternoon at Wrigley Field.  Yovani Gallardo struck out 6 and gave up just 1 run and 3 hits in 7 innings to pick up the win. The Brewers scored all three runs in the the on a Jeff Bianchi pinch hit single and then scored on a Gallardo single.  The Brewers take Monday off and then open up a series in St. Louis on Tuesday.
