Connor Johnson and John Mierzwa of the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders were selected to play in the Northwoods League All-Star Game coming up July 18th in Wausau. Johnson is 2-1 with a 1.86 ERA in six games for Fondy this year, while Mierzwa is 2-0 with a 1.52 ERA in five starts this season.

–Jesus Aguilar went 3 for 4 with two home runs – one of them a Grand Slam – and seven RBI as the Brewers took down the Yankees in New York in game one of their weekend series. Josh Hader earned the win in relief, tossing three innings in place of starter Junior Guerra. Hader allowed a run on one hit and struck out seven. Game two is this afternoon, coverage starts at 11:30 am, first pitch at 12:05 pm on KFIZ.
