The Brewers kept the ball rolling as they beat the Chicago Cubs 5 to 2 last night at Miller Park. Matt Garza performed exceptionally well against his former team as he gave up 2 runs on 4 hits and had seven strikeouts and 1 walk over seven innings.  Lyle Overbay had a solo shot while Ryan Braun and Carlos Gomez each had 3 hits and a stolen base. The series continues tonight as Marco Estrada takes on Travis Wood. Pre-game starts 5:30 on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ, the first pitch is set for 6:10. 

In the NBA Playoffs, The Nets take a 2 to 1 series lead over the Raptors as they defeated them 102 to 98.  Joe Johnson had 29 points and 2 assists in the victory for the Nets. 

The Bulls avoided a 3 nothing deficit in the series as they beat the Wizards 100 to 97 last night. Mike Dunleavy had 35 points and 5 rebounds in the victory for the Bulls.

The Rockets held off the Trail Blazers in overtime to defeat them 121 to 116.  James Harden had 37 points and 9 rebounds in the victory last night.  However, the Trail Blazers still have the series lead at 2 games to 1.

The Philadelphia Flyers held off the New York Rangers 2 to 1 last night in the NHL playoffs. Goaltender Steve Mason had 37 saves for the Flyers in the winning effort.  Matt Read and Jacub Veracek each had a goal for the flyers. However, they are tied at 2 a piece in the series .

The Blackhawks bet the Blues 3 to 2 in overtime last night.  Center Jonathon Toews had the game winner at the 7:36 point of the period to give them the victory.

The Ducks routed the Stars last night by a score of 6 to 2 . The ducks also have the lead in the series at 3 games to 2. 

Badgers Men’s Basketball star forward Frank Kaminsky made the announcement that he will return to the Badgers for his senior season.  Kaminsky is coming off an incredible season as he led the Badgers to the final 4 and was given first-team all-big ten honors.  The badgers will have there entire roster back next season besides Ben Brust who was a senior the past year. 

In high school softball, Appleton West beat Fond Du Lac 8 to 5 MaKenna Mitchell had a triple and RBI for Fond du Lac.

In high school base ball Fond du Lac beat Kimberly 5 to 2.

In Golf, FDL Appleton west finished in a tie and 179 each yesterday.  Fond du lac however won the tie breaker to win the match.  Joe Wright shot a 40 and Mike Barbeau shot a 44 for FDL.
