The Packers will start Matt
Flynn at quarterback on Sunday when the Steelers come to Lambeau Field.  Mike McCarthy announced on Friday that team
doctors have not cleared Aaron Rodgers to play. 
Heavy snow is expected on Sunday and it may still be snowing when the
game kicks off at 3:25pm.  You’ll hear it
on KFIZ.

Gordon Returns

The Badgers got a big boost
for 2014 when running back Melvin Gordon announced on Friday that he will
return for his junior season in Madison.  Gordon will be a Heisman Trophy candidate
next season for the Badgers.

 

College Bowl Season

The college bowl season
begins today with four games on the schedule. 
The New Mexico Bowl features Washington
State and Colorado
The Las Vegas Bowl has USC and Fresno State.  The Idaho Potatoes Bowl will match Buffalo and San
Diego
State

and the New Orleans Bowl will pit Tulane against Louisiana-Lafayette.

 

UW Volleyball

The University
of Wisconsin women’s volleyball team
will play Penn State
tonight in the NCAA Championship Game in Seattle.  UW played in the final back in 2000 and look
to become the lowest seed ever to win a national volleyball title as a 12th
seed.  The title game is set for 8:30pm Wisconsin time tonight. It will be broadcast on ESPN2.  

 

Bucks Fall

The Cavs beat the Bucks 114-111
in overtime on Friday night in Cleveland.  John Henson had 18 and Brandon Knight 17 in a
losing effort.  Milwaukee will host the 76ers tonight.  Coverage begins at 7:10pm on KFIZ.

The St. Mary’s Springs and Fond du Lac boys hockey
teams will square off at the Blue Line tonight. 
You’ll hear that game on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ. Coverage begins at 4:35pm
and they will drop the puck at 5pm.  The
