The Brewers picked up a 2-0 win over Miami on Friday night at Miller Park.  Carlos Gomez and Juan Francisco each hit solo homers to highlight the win.  Kyle Lohse tossed six scoreless innings and gave up just five hits and struck out five to notch the win.  Francisco Rodriguez pitched the 9th for his 10th save of the season.  Yovani Gallardo gets the start tonight.  Coverage begins at 5:35pm on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.

 

Bucks Summer League

The San Antonio Spurs edged the Bucks 90-88 in their final game of the Las Vegas Summer League on Friday.  Rookie Nate Wolters had 20 points, five rebounds and three assists. The Bucks finish their run in Vegas at 2-3.  They lost three straight after winning their first two games.

 

Packers Hall of Fame
The Green Bay Packers will induct two more into the team’s Hall of Fame tonight.  Defensive lineman Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila and Chris Jacke will be this year’s honorees.

 

Packers Sign Burnett

The Packers made it official on Friday, by announcing that they have inked safety Morgan Burnett to a contract extension.  Burnett was a third round pick out of Georgia Tech in 2010. After injuring his knee in 2010 he started all 16 games in each of the last two seasons in Green Bay.
