The Brewers edged the Arizona
Diamondbacks 2-1 on Friday night in Phoenix.  Jimmy Nelson scattered five hits over seven
scoreless innings to pick up the win.  Francisco
Rodriguez gave up a run in the 9th but still notched his 22nd
save of the season. Ryan Braun clubbed his 18th homer of the season.

Menomonee Falls won the WIAA
State Summer baseball championship with an 11-0 win over Franklin
on Friday in Mequon.  It’s the 1st Summer Baseball
championship for Menomonee Falls.

Cody Zonnefeld will represent
Central Wisconsin Christian at the Wisconsin Soccer Coaches’ Association
All-Star Game at UW-Whitewater this afternoon. 
Cody is one of just 32 players statewide chosen to take part in this
game, which will kick-off at 1:00 PM. Next season Cody will continue his soccer
career at Dordt College
in Iowa.
