Packers Training Camp

The Green Bay Packers opened up their 2013 training camp on Friday morning with a spirited practice.  The Packers will practice at 8:20am on Saturday.  The Family Night Scrimmage is set for Saturday, August 3rd and the first preseason game is Friday, August 9th at Lambeau against the Chief.  KFIZ is your home for Green Bay Packers football.

Rodgers Speaks On Braun

Aaron Rodgers met the media after the Packers first training camp workout and was immediately peppered with questions regarding Ryan Braun. Rodgers defended Braun in public after he had an arbitrator strike down his first failed PED test.  Rodgers said that he didn’t feel great being lied to by Braun. Rodgers went on to say that Braun looked him in the eye and lied to him about taking PEDS.  He also wouldn’t comment on where their business relationship is with their 8*Twelve restaurant partnership. 

Brewers Rocked

Wily Peralta gave up 8 runs in 3 and two-thirds of work as Colorado pounded the Brewers 8-3 on Friday night. Carlos Gomez hit a long solo homer of the 9th.  The series continues tonight.  Coverage begins at 6:35pm on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.

Bucks Sign Big Man
The Milwaukee Bucks have signed free-agent center Miroslav Raduljica (7-1, 280).
Raduljica, 25, enters the NBA after a successful seven-year career in various top pro leagues in Europe. The native of Serbia spent the 2012-13 season with the Ukrainian club Azovmash, leading the team to the Ukrainian Superleague Finals and earning Eurobasket.com All-Ukrainian Superleague Second Team honors after averaging 14.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.1 blocks in 53 league games. Raduljica has also spent time with professional teams in Serbia, Germany and Turkey, earning numerous awards and honors along the way including All-Serbian League Most Improved Player of the Year in 2010 and All-Serbian League Center of the Year in 2012.
