Joey Chestnut is the world hotdog eating champion, and he proved it again yesterday as he scarfed down 61 hotdogs in 10 minutes. He also had motivation to do so as just minutes before the event he dropped to one knee and proposed to his fiancée on the event stage in front of 10,000 people and national television. Good thing she said yes because that would’ve been quite the let down for him.  Running some math hear, the 61 hotdogs equates to about 6 hotdogs per minute, and the 61 hot dogs and buns equates to 23,790 calories, 1,189.5 grams of fat, 60,390 milligrams of sodium, 2,245 grams of carbohydrates and 793 grams of protein.  Don’t forget that probably equates also to about 10 hour in the bathroom as well.
