The Badger men’s basketball team will play Purdue today in
the Big Ten Tournament Semifinals in Chicago.  The Badgers took down Michigan yesterday 70-61.  Sam Dekker had 17 points and Frank Kaminsky
had 16 points and 12 rebounds.  Coverage
today begins at 11am with the tip set for Noon. 

 

The College of Idaho knocked Cardinal Stritch out of the NAIA
Division Two National Tournament in Branson,
Missouri
on Friday night.  Fondy grad Tony Smith had 30 while Laconia grad Tyler Semenas
had 19.  Drew Diener’s squad ends their season
at 25-10.

 

The Bucks travel to Memphis
tonight.  Coverage begins at 6:40pm on
KFIZ.

 

The Mariners beat the Brewers 10-5 on Friday in Cactus
League action.  Catcher Juan Centeno
homered for the Brewers and outfielder Matt Long drove in a pair.  Mike Fiers gave up 4 runs and 5 hits in two
innings. The Brewers play the Cubs this afternoon.  Coverage begins at 2:55pm on KFIZ.

 

The WIAA Boys Basketball Tournament has reached the Sectional
Final today.  Kimberly out of the FVA
will play Germantown at Manitowoc at 4pm today.

 

The WIAA will crown five state champions in girls basketball
today at the Resch Center in Green
