The Brewers blanked the Mets 7-0
on Friday night in New York.  Kyle Lohse gave up just 2 hits in 8 innings
of work to pick up the win. Ryan Braun clubbed a pair of homers and Gerardo
Parra also went deep.  The series
continues tonight.  Coverage begins at
5:35pm on KFIZ.

 

The Atlanta Hawks advanced to
the Eastern Conference Finals with a 94-91 win over the Washington Wizards on
Friday night.  Atlanta wins the series 4-2.  The Cavs host the Hawks in Game 1 of the
Eastern Conference Finals on Wednesday.

 

Golden State
advanced to the Western Conference Finals with a 108-95 win over Memphis. The Warriors win
the series 4-2.  Golden State
hosts either the Clippers or Rockets in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals
on Tuesday.  Game 7 between LA and
Houston is Sunday. 

 

The NHL’s Eastern Conference
Finals get going tonight as the NY Rangers host Tampa Bay.
The Western Finals start on Sunday when Anaheim
hosts Chicago.

 

Concordia, Chicago
beat Ripon College 6-5 at the NCAA Division III
Baseball Regional at LaCrosse on Friday. 
The Red Hawks have been knocked out of the event.  Concordia will play Whitewater at Noon today.

 

Waupun won an EWC event host
by Kewaskum.  Then Sheboygan Falls
won a 2nd event at Auburn Bluffs in Campbellsport.

 

St. Mary’s
Springs won both Flyway boys golf mini-meets at Rolling Meadows Friday. In the North Fond du Lac meet the Ledgers shot at 151. WLA was 2nd
at 169.  The Vikings’ Chris Colla led the
way with a 35.  SMSA’s Patrick Treichel
had a 36.  In the WLA meet SMSA shot a 148
WLA was 2nd at 166.  Springs’ Brady
Sarauer had a 33 and Chris Colla 35

The Fond
du Lac
golf team stopped Appleton North 157-192 at Rolling Meadows.  Jack Nejedlo fired a 35.  Elliot Nielson had a 40. 

 

Fond du Lac baseball team banged out 18 hits in a 12-5 over
Kaukauna.  Jack Cole and Matt Ryan each
had 3 hits.

Point
beat the Laconia baseball team 7-2
on Friday night.
