The Brewers held on for a 4 to 3 victory yesterday at Wrigley Field.  Kyle Lohse pitched an effective 7 innings to pick up his first win in nearly 3 weeks.  Jean Segura had 3 hits and 2 RBI’s for Milwaukee in the victory, which improved to an NL best 13-5 on the road.  The series continues this afternoon as Matt Garza gets the nod against Edwin Jackson. Scores around the NL central yesterday, the Reds beat the Philly’s 3 to 0.  St. Louis beat Atlanta 5 to 2, and Pittsburgh’s game against the Yankees got postponed. 

After game seven in the Western Conference match-up between the Kings and the Ducks, the Kings will be advancing after a 6 to 2 victory.  Six different King players scored goals and goaltender Jonathon Quick had 25 saves.  The Kings will play the Blackhawks in the Western Conference Finals. 

The Packers are finally getting to football as rookie camp got underway yesterday.  The players went through roughly two hours of drills and got a fair share of seven-on-seven and 11-on-11 work thrown in as well.  Wisconsin native Jared Abberderis said it’s been no different for him, it’s been a crazy week…….Rookie camp will continue threw out next week. 

In other NFL news, Colts pass rushing linebacker Robert Mathis has been suspended for 4 games for using performance enhancing drugs.  It is said that he used the same substance that Manny Ramirez did a while back. 

The Eastern Conference Finals in the NBA will get underway on Sunday.  In that match-up the Miami Heat will face the upstart Indiana Pacers.  One thing to keep in mind, the game will be in Indiana and the pacers have almost been unstoppable as the have a 35 and 6 record when they are on there home court.  The western Conference Finals get the go ahead on Monday as the Oklahoma City Thunder will take on the San Antonio Spurs.
