WIAA Girls Swimming

Division 1 State Meet: 

Fond du Lac’s Kristilee McCadden finishes 18th in the 200 yard freestyle and 12th in the 500 yard freestyle. Meanwhile, Fond du Lac’s 400 yard freestyle relay team took 15th. 

College Football: 

Big Ten: 

Wisconsin 48, Illinois 3. 

–Corey Clement rushed for 123 yards and three touchdowns as the Badgers cruised past Illinois on Homecoming at Camp Randall Stadium. The Badgers defense intercepted Illinois quarterback Jeff George Jr. four times in the win, including two by safety Leo Musso. The Badgers are now 8-2, they’ll play at Purdue next Saturday. 

Iowa 14, Michigan 13. — Keith Duncan hits a 33 yard field goal as time expires to knock off the #3 Wolverines in Iowa City.

NBA: Bucks beat Memphis 106-96 at the Bradley Center. Giannis Antetokounmpo had 27 points, Michael Beasley 19 for Milwaukee. The Bucks are next in action on Wednesday at Atlanta.
