NFL: 

Green Bay 38, Minnesota 25

–Aaron Rodgers threw for 347 yards and four touchdowns and ran for another score as the Packers put away the Vikings at Lambeau Field on Christmas Eve. Jordy Nelson had 9 catches for 154 yards and a touchdown in the win. Sam Bradford threw for 382 yards and three touchdowns in the game, 202 of those yards going to receiver Adam Thielen who caught two scores. The Packers have now won five straight and will play Detroit for the NFC North title next Sunday at Ford Field in Detroit. The Vikings were eliminated from playoff contention with the loss and fall to 7-8. 

Washington 41, Chicago 21

–Kirk Cousins threw for 279 yards and a touchdown and the Redskins’ defense intercepted Matt Barkley five times as Washington kept their playoff hopes alive in a pounding of Chicago at Soldier Field. The Bears are 3-12 and will finish the season at Minnesota next Sunday.
