The Fondy Babe Ruth team had their game with Cape Cod, Massachusetts rained out at the Babe Ruth World Series in Covington, Alabama on Saturday. The teams will play again today. Fondy is 0-2 so far and will also have a game on Monday.
Packers Win
Eddie Lacy ran 8 times for 40 yards as the Packers beat the Rams 19-7 in preseason action on Saturday night in St. Louis. Aaron Rodgers completed 10 of 12 passes for 134 yards in the win. Green Bay’s only TD came in the 4th quarter when BJ Coleman hit Andy Mulumba on a 9 yards strike. The Packers will host Seattle next Friday night.
Brewers Win
The Brewers blanked the Reds 2-0 on Saturday night at Miller Park. Yovani Gallardo gave up just three hits in six and a third innings to pick up the win. Jim Henderson got the save. Logan Schafer drove in both Brewers runs. The series wraps up this afternoon. Coverage begins at 12:35pm on KFIZ.
