LSU rallied to beat
Wisconsin 28-24 in Houston
on Saturday night.  Wisconsin built a 24-7 lead early in the 2nd
half and then the offense went silent and LSU crawled back into the game.  Melvin Gordon had 16 carries for 143 yards and
a TD but only carried the ball 3 times in the 2nd half.  Tanner McEvoy struggled in his first college
start at QB completing just 8 of 24 passes for 50 yards and 2 interceptions.  The Badgers will host Western
Illinois
next Saturday morning at 11am on KFIZ.

 

Mark Reynolds busted up
Jake Peavy’s no hitter with a single in the 8th as San Francisco stopped the Brewers 3-1 on
Saturday night.  The loss shrinks the
Crew’s lead in the NL Central to 1 game over St. Louis and 2 over the Pirates.  The series wraps up this afternoon.  Coverage begins at 2:30pm on KFIZ.

girls volleyball team went 2-7 picking up wins over Marshfield and Beaver Dam at the Sun Prairie
Invite.  Fondy finished 10th
at the 12 team event.  Fondy hosts
Oshkosh West on Thursday.

Freshman Ally Gietzel won the
girls freshmen/sophomore race.

for junior girls.
