The St. Louis
Cardinals outslugged the Brewers 9-7 on Saturday night at Busch Stadium. Cardinal
hitters roughed up Brewers starter Kyle Lohse for 9 runs in four innings of
work to drop his record to 11-6 on the year. 
St. Louis
starter Justin Masterson wasn’t great in his first start since being traded but
still managed to pick up the win.  Scotter
Gennett and Ryan Braun each drove in a pair in the loss.  Milwaukee now
leads the NL Central by 1.5 games over Pittsburgh
and 2 games over the Cardinals.  The
Brewers and Cardinals wrap up their series this afternoon.  Coverage begins at 12:40pm on News-Talk 1450

A Family Night
record crowd of 67,336 watch the Packers practice under the lights at Lambeau
Field on Saturday night.  The team did
not have any full tacking scrimmages during the event, instead ran a regular
type practice.  The team’s first
preseason game is next Saturday night when they travel to Tennessee for their first preseason game
next Saturday night.  You’ll hear it on

Packers 5th
round draft pick Jared Abbrederis appears to be lost for the season after
tearing his ACL during practiced on Thursday. 
The former Badger tweeted out that he tore the ACL on Saturday.  After the Family Night, Head Coach Mike
McCarthy said they hadn’t yet made a roster move to place Abbrederis on IR.
