The Brewers edged the Mets 7-6 on Saturday night at Miller Park. Jonathan Lucroy hit his 9th homer of the season and drove in a pair, while Jean Segura also had two RBI in the win.  Yovani Gallardo gave up four runs and six hits in six innings to improve his record to 7-8 on the season.  K-Rod notched save #8 on the season.  The series wraps up this afternoon.  Coverage begins at 12:35pm on KFIZ.

 

Brewers Get Two All-Stars

Despite one of their worst seasons in many years, the Milwaukee Brewers will have a pair of All-Stars.  Centerfield Carlos Gomez and shortstop Jean Segura were both named to the National League squad for the upcoming game in New York.

 

Bucks Bring Back Pachullia

The Milwaukee Bucks have signed big man ZaZa Pacbullia to a three-year, $15 million dollar contract.   The 6’11 veteran scored 6 points and pulled down 7 rebounds last year for Atlanta.  Pachullia played the 2004-2005 season in Milwaukee.  He will backup Larry Sanders.

 

NASCAR

Jimmie Johnson won the NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Daytona on Saturday night. Tony Stewart was 2nd and Kevin Harvick 3rd.  Matt Kenseth was 33rd.
