Stritch Men Advance To NAIA Final Four

Laconia grad Derek Semenas scored 22 points and Fond du Lac grad Nick Ford scored 18 as Cardinal Stritch beat Dordt College 82-76 in double-OT to advance to the NAIA Division Two Final Four.  Stritch will play Indians-Southeast in the national semifinals on Monday night at 8pm.

 

Marquette Clinches Share of Big East

The Marquette Golden Eagles claimed a share of the Big East championship with a 69-67 win at St. Johns on Saturday afternoon.  The Golden Eagles finish the season at 23-7 and 14-4 in Big East play.  They share the title with Georgetown and Louisville.

 

Heartbreak for UW-Green Bay

Ryan Broekhoff’s three-pointer at the buzzer gave Valpo a 70-69 win in the Horizon League Semifinals on Saturday night.  UWGB blew a four point lead with 13 seconds left in the game.  Valpo plays Wright State on Tuesday night for the Horizon League crown.

 

Badgers At Penn State

The Badgers wrap up their regular season in Happy Valley against Penn State. Coverage begins at 10am with the tip at 11am on KFIZ.
