Packers Host Jags

The Packers hope to make it three straight wins today as they host Jacksonville at Lambeau Field.  The Packers are banged up and we’ll have to wait and see who actually plays.  Greg Jennings and Charles Woodson are officially out of the game.  There are 13 total players listed on the injury report.  RB Maurice Jones-Drew will miss the game for Jacksonville with a foot injury, but starting QB Blaine Gabbert will get the start even though he has an injury to his non-throwing shoulder.  Coverage begins at 10am with the kickoff set for Noon on KFIZ.

Badgers Lose

Michigan State rallied to beat Wisconsin 16-13 in overtime at Camp Randall on Saturday.  The win by the Spartans ended Wisconsin’s 21 game home winning streak.  Wisconsin led 10-3 late before Sparty TD with 1:08 to play.  In OT, UW had to settle for a Kyle French field goal to make it 13-10.  MSU got the win when QB Andrew Maxwell hit Bennie Fowler on an 8 yard TD.  Bucky lost QB Joel Stave in the game with an injured non-throwing shoulder.  He’ll be evaluated and could miss the rest of the season.  UW is off next week and then travels to Indiana on November 10th

Badgers Lose Gasser

Wisconsin point guard Josh Gasser will miss the entire 2012-2013 season after tearing his ACL at practice on Saturday.  The junior from Port Washington will take a medical redshirt and will have two year of eligibility left at UW.  Redshirt freshman George Marshall will now get the call at PG for Bucky.
