Girls Basketball action is on the calendar for tonight, the WIAA Sectional Semifinals. From our area, in Division 4, St. Mary’s Springs plays Howards Grove at West Bend. The two teams met on January 21st, with Howards Grove winning 49-42. The Ledgers defeated top-seeded Oshkosh Lourdes 58-56 last Saturday, while Howards Grove defeated Laconia 50-47. Tipoff time is set for 7pm, our coverage begins around 6:50 on KFIZ.

Also in the area, in Division 3, top seeded Waupun will play Columbus in a sectional semifinal game at Beaver Dam High School.

–The Badgers will play #6 seed Michigan State tonight at 8pm.

NBA: Denver 110, Milwaukee 98

–Khris Middleton scored 21 points off the bench in the loss to Denver at home. Malcom Brogdon added 17, Giannis Antetokounmpo 15. The Bucks host the LA Clippers on Friday night.

Men’s College Volleyball:

Lakeland 3, Marian 1 (25-18, 25-15, 23-25, 25-18)

MLB: Milwaukee 3, Cincinnati 2

–Lucas Erceg knocked in the winning run in the 9th as the Brewers beat Cincinnati to earn their 2nd win of spring training. Jonathan Villar and Scooter Gennett each went 2 for 3 in the win. Milwaukee plays Seattle this afternoon on the road.
