night.  Jimmy Nelson gave up 10 hits and
four runs in six and two thirds innings to notch the win.  The series wraps up this afternoon at Miller Park.

Badgers forward Nigel Hayes
has decided to enter the NBA Draft.  He
has not hired an agent so he can change his mind and return to school.

Packers General Manager Ted
Thompson held his pre-draft press conference yesterday.  As he does every year, Thompson says the
Packers will not draft for need, but select the best available player on the
board when they are on the clock. Green
picks 27th in the 1st round
next Thursday night.


The Cleveland Browns have
traded the #2 overall pick in next week’s draft to Philadelphia for a collection of draft picks.


UW-Stevens Point swept the
Marian baseball team, winning 5-0 and 12-0 on the Wednesday.  


Lakeland swept the Marian softball team in a doubleheader on
Wednesday.  The Muskies took game one
8-7, then completed the sweep with a 7-3 victory.  The Sabres are 18-12 on the season.


Boys Golf

The Fond du Lac boys golf team finished in the
middle of the pack at the Sheboygan North Invite at the Irish Course in Kohler
on Wednesday.   Elliot Nielsen led the
way with a 78.  That was good for 13th

One of the best known female
professional wrestlers, Chyna has died. 
Joanie Lauer was found dead in her California home on Wednesday.  She was 45.
