The Los Angeles Rams are on
the clock as the NFL Draft begins tonight with the first round in Chicago.  The Rams traded with Tennessee to grab the #1 spot.  The Eagles pick 2nd after making a
trade with Cleveland.  The Packers pick 27th in the first
round.  Green Bay has 9 total picks this weekend.

 

The Brewers and Cubs were
rained out last night at Wrigley Field. 
No makeup date for that game as been set.  They will try and play between the rain drops
this afternoon as Jake Arrieta takes on Taylor Jungmann.  Coverage begins at 12:45pm with the first
pitch at 1:20pm on KFIZ.

 

Scooter Gennett was sent back
to Milwaukee to
get a stomach muscle injury checked out. 
His status is up in the air.

The Marian baseball team
snapped a 16 game losing streak with a 10-4 win over Ripon on Wednesday night
at Herr-Baker Field.  The Sabre banged
out 17 hits in the win.   The Sabres host
Concordia, Wisconsin on Saturday for a
doubleheader.   The first pitch is set
for noon.

 

The Fond du Lac boys golf team tied for 14th
at the Brookfield Central Invite.  The
Cardinals were led by Elliot Nielsen who tied for 11th with a
79. 

 

The St. Mary’s Springs boys
golf team won the Division One Field at the Oriole-Ledger Invite at Rolling Meadows on
Wednesday.   The Ledgers Brady Sarauer
and Colin Ahern tied for medalist honors with 76s.  In Division Two, WLA’s Chris Colla won the D2
individual event with an 80 as the Vikings took the top spot there.  Sheboygan Lutheran won the Division Three
event.
