The Packers had their
longest and hottest workout of the season on Wednesday as they get ready for
Saturday’s preseason game at
injury rookie Ha Ha Clinton-Dix got more reps alongside Micah Hyde with the first
team defense. The Packers have the day
off today. Saturday’s game kicks off at
7pm with the pregame set for 5pm on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.
Pablo Sandoval homered and
drove in three as the Giants beat the Brewer 7-4 last night at Miller Park Yovani Gallardo gave up 9 hits and 4 runs in
just four innings of work. Carlos Gomez
and Khris Davis both homered in the loss. The series wraps up today as Wily
Peralta takes on Jake Peavy. Coverage
begins at 12:35pm with the first pitch set for 1:10pm on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.

The year’s final major
starts today. The PGA Championship is at
Valhalla in the
native Steve Stricker is in the field in one of the higher profile groups
playing along with Sergio Garcia and Tom Watson.
Jerry Kelly also is in the field as an alternate. Tiger Woods played a practice round yesterday
and will take part despite a bad back.
Tom Watson has asked Steve
Stricker to be the 3rd and final vice-captain of the U.S Ryder Cup
team next month in
