The
Wisconsin Badgers officially announced Paul Chryst as their new football coach
on Wednesday Night.  Chryst returns to
the state where his was born and to the school where he played quarterback and
also coached.  Chryst has spend the last
three seasons as the head coach at Pitt where he went 19-19.   He replaces Gary Andersen who bolted for Oregon State
after just two seasons on the job.  The
Badgers will play Auburn
in the Outback Bowl on January 1st

Life
without Jabari Parker started last night as the Bucks lost in Portland 104-97.  The Bucks rookie will miss the rest of the
season after tearing the ACL in his left knee on Monday night.  Brandon Knight led Milwaukee with 24 points.  Giannis left the game early with an ankle
injury.  His status will be updated
today. The Bucks are in Sacramento
tonight.  You’ll hear the game right

the NFL season gets going tonight with a stinker of a game as 2-12 Jacksonville hosts 2-12 Tennessee.

will travel to 2-12 Tampa
Bay
on Sunday.  You’ll hear it on KFIZ.  Coverage begins at 10am with Sunday’s kickoff
set for Noon.

 

Mike
McCarthy had his team vote for playoff captains yesterday even though the team
hasn’t clinched a playoff bid.  Aaron
Rodgers, Jordy Nelson, Julius Peppers, Morgan Burnett, Jarrett Bush, and
Randall Cobb will represent the team in their playoff opener if they qualify.

 

Reports say
the Bears have benched quarterback Jay Cutler for their game with Detroit on Sunday.  Jimmy Clausen will get the start under center
on Sunday at Soldier Field.
