Packers vs. Titans

The Packers continue preparations for the Tennessee Titans on Sunday at Lambeau.   It’s the final home game of the regular season for Green Bay.  Packers coach Mike McCarthy says he tried to get his younger players ready for today’s winter storm, but if they’ve never experienced it they don’t really understand how hard it to travel in a winter storm and he wants the to get to the team facility safely.  Sunday’s game kicks off Noon.  You’ll hear it on KFIZ.

 

Bucks Lose

Zach Randolph scored 15 points and grabbed 17 rebounds as the Memphis Grizzlies beat the Bucks 90-80 last night.  Brandon Jennings missed his first 8 shots but finished with 26 points.

 

Phoenix Upset Marquette

UW-Green Bay beat Marquette 49-47 last night at the Resch Center.  Kiefer Sykes led UWGB with 20 points.  Jamil Wilson had 16 for the Golden Eagles.  Marquette is 7-3 while UW-Green Bay is 4-7.

 

Andersen Press Conference On Hold

The University of Wisconsin had hoped to introduce Gary Andersen as their new head coach today, but the winter storm has put those plans on hold.  The press conference is now expected to be held on Friday.

 

Badger Preview

We are expected to have a Wisconsin Badger Rose Bowl Preview Show tonight on KFIZ.  It’s scheduled to start at 7pm but with the winter storm it may be postponed.

 

High School Sports on Hold

With today’s winter storm all high school sports for tonight are postponed.
