The Wisconsin Badgers held
off UW-Green Bay 84-79 in Greg Gard’s debut as
interim head coach.  UW led by as many as
30 points in the 2nd half before Green Bay went on a 33-6 run to
make it close.  Nigel Hayes led the Badgers
with 24 points while Carrington Love paced the Phoenix with 28.  The Badgers open up Big Ten play against
Purdue on Tuesday.  Green
Bay
travels to Morehead
State
on Monday
night. 

 

UW-Milwaukee picked up a 74-65
win at Minnesota
on Wednesday night.  Jordan Johnson had
19 to pace the Panther who won at a Big Ten venue for the 2nd time
this year.  The Panthers open up Horizon
League play on January 2nd against Wright State.

The NFL week kicks off
tonight as the Oakland Raiders host San
Diego
.  It will
be Charles Woodson’s last home game in Oakland.  He played 11 of his 18 NFL seasons with the
Raiders. The other seven were in Green
Bay

today in preparation for Sunday’s matchup at Arizona
