Packers

Yesterday the Packers’ injury report came out.  There are a few key injuries of note including Randall Cobb who did not practice due to illness, Jordy Nelson who did not practice due to an ankle injury, Jerel Worthy was out due to a knee injury and linebackers Clay Matthews and Dezmon Moses were both limited participants.  Packers’ TE Jermichael Finely was a full participant despite a hamstring injury he sustained last week against Minnesota.  The Packers take on the 49ers in the NFC Divisional round this Saturday night.  KFIZ’s coverage begins at 5p with kickoff set for 7p.

Bucks

The Bucks are 2-0 since firing former head coach Scott Skiles.  Last night Milwaukee beat Chicago 104-96.  The Bucks got a big night from Brandon Jennings who scored 35 points, 20 in the 3rd quarter.  With the win, the Bucks improve to 18-16 on the season.  Their next game is this Friday at the BMO Harris Bradley Center vs Detroit.

Baseball

Yesterday the biggest shutout in sports didn’t deal with a game.  For the first time since 1996 the votes did not elect any players to the Baseball Hall of Fame.  This was the first group of stars from the steroid era including Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens, and Sammy Sosa.  Those players all fell well short of the 75% needed to enter the Hall.  Craig Biggio was the closest to getting in with 68.2 percent.
