It was a weird hour or so
last night as multiple reports said that the Brewers were trading centerfielder
Carlos Gomez to the Mets in exchange for infielder Wilmer Flores and pitcher
Zack Wheeler. Flores was so upset about
the deal that he was crying on the field during the Mets 7-3 loss to

Then Mets GM Sandy Alderson said the trade will not happen.
One trade that did happen is

traded pitcher Mat Latos and 1B Michael Morse to the Dodgers for three minor
leaguers.
