ranked and defending state champ Cuba

.  The Cubans are making their state record 16th
appearance at state.  They have 10
titles.   The Ledgers are making their 2nd
straight trip to state.  They fell to
Algoma in the semifinals last season.  Coverage
begins at 6pm with the tip set for 6:35pm on KFIZ presented by BCI Burke

78-56 in the 1st round of the Big East Tournament at Madison Square Garden
on Wednesday night. Matt Carlino had 26 points.   The Golden Eagles will pay Villanova this
morning at 11am.

Cardinal Stritch men’s basketball team coached by Fond du Lac
native Drew Diener advanced to the 2nd round of the NAIA National
Tournament in Branson, Missouri with a 78-69 win over College of
the Ozarks on Wednesday night.  Fondy
High alum Tony Smit and 24 and Laconia
grad Tyler Semenas 16.  The Wolves will
face College of Idaho on Friday night at 7:30pm.

 

The Bucks rallied from 10 down in the 3rd quarter
to beat Orlando 97-91 at the BMO

on Wednesday
night. Khris Middleton scored 30 as all five Bucks starters hit double figures.  The Bucks are at Indiana tonight. The tip is set for 6pm.

 

The Packers made it official on Wednesday, inking right
tackle Brian Bulaga to a contract.

 

The Marian University baseball team begins a week long trip to Tucson, Arizona
today.  The Sabres will face Bethany
Lutheran for a pair of games tonight.

 

The Brewers beat the Giants 6-3 in Cactus League action on
Wednesday.  Kris Davis drove in a pair of
runs and Matt Garza gave up 2 runs and 4 hits in 3 innings of work.   The Brewers play the Rockies
this afternoon.  There is no radio
broadcast.  The first pitch is set for
3:05pm.
