The Badger men’s basketball
team rolled by Minnesota
62-49 last night in the Twin Cities.  Bronson
Koenig led the way with 14 while Vito Brown and Ethan Happ added 12 each.  UW sits at 20-10 overall and 12-5 in league
play.  Wisconsin will wrap up their regular season
on Sunday night at Purdue.  That’s a
6:30pm tip with a 5:30pm pregame on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.

 

The Pacers took down the
Bucks 104-99 last night at BMO
Harris Bradley
Center
. Khris Middleton
paced Milwaukee
with 23.   The Bucks host Minnesota on Friday
night.

 

The Brewers open up Cactus
League play this afternoon with a pair of split squad games with the Cubs and
Giants.  You’ll hear the game against the
Giants on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.  Coverage
begins at 1:55pm with the first pitch set for 2:05pm.

 

The Laconia and Waupun girls basketball team’s
will square off tonight in a WIAA Division Three Girls Basketball Sectional
Semifinal in Beaver Dam.  You’ll hear it
on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.  Coverage begins
at 6:30pm with the tip set for 7pm.

Cardinal girls basketball players have received post-season honors.  Fond

sophomore Ally Gietzel was named 1st
team All-FVA and was selected as Co-Player of the Year.  Aleah Wendels was also named Honorable
Mention All-FVA.

 

The WIAA State Hockey
Tournament gets going today in Madison
with Quarterfinal matchups.  The girls
and boys semifinals will be on Friday with the championship matches set for
Saturday.
