The Pittsburgh
Pirates scored three times in the 9th off of Francisco Rodriguez to
grab a 4-1 win last night at Miller
Park
.  The Brewers only mustered six hits last night
with their lone run coming in the 5th on a sac fly by Jeff
Bianchi.  Wily Peralta was solid giving
up just 1 run and 5 hits through seven innings but settles for the no
decision.  The series wraps up this
afternoon as Yovani Gallardo takes on Wandy Rodriguez.  Coverage begins at 11:35am with the first
pitch at 12:10pm on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ

Carlos Gomez
dropped his appeal of a three game suspension for the fight with the Pirates a
few weeks back.  MLB has not ruled on his
appeal and he has been suffering from back spasms.  Gomez will use the next two days to finish
out the suspension and rest his back.
