Cellar Dwellers

The Milwaukee Brewers dropped into last place in the NL Central with a 3-1 loss at Pittsburgh on Wednesday night.  Wandy Rodriguez gave up just 1 run on 6 hits in seven innings of work to notch the win.  Yovani Gallardo surrendered just 2 runs on three hits in six frames to get stung with the loss.  Rickie Weeks homered in the 7th for the Brewers only run, but he also committed and error leading to a Pirate run in the 8th. The loss drops the Brewers to 16-22 on the season into 5th place in the division.  Hiram Burgos takes on Francisco Liriano in the series finale tonight.  Coverage begins at 5:30pm on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.
