Ledgers Defend Title

St. Mary’s Springs will defend their WIAA Division Six State Football Championship this afternoon as they play Eau Claire Regis at Madison’s Camp Randall Stadium Both team come into the game with perfect 12-0 records.  Coverage begins at 12:05pm with the Backyard Grill Pregame Show. The kickoff is set for 1pm.   The game will also stream at kfiz.com and is presented by the BCI Burke Company, Immel Insurance and Financial Services, and Taco Bell.

Matthews Out

Clay Matthews is officially out of Sunday’s game at Detroit with a hamstring injury.  Head Coach Mike McCarthy told the media they expected the All-Pro to miss Sunday’s game all along.  Kickoff is set for Noon on KFIZ.

Badgers Host Buckeyes

The Wisconsin Badger football team hosts unbeaten Ohio State and Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium.  OSU and Penn State can’t represent the Leaders Division in the Big Ten Championship Game because they are on NCAA probation, so the Badgers have already clinched the spot in the December 1st game, but UW wants to win the division outright.  The kickoff on Saturday is set for 2:30pm with the pregame set for 12:30pm on KFIZ.

The Mets RA Dickey won the National League Cy Young Award and Tampa Bay’s David Price won the American League honor.
