Another honor has been bestowed on St. Mary’s Spring running
back Ike Floyd. has named
him the Elroy “Crazylegs” Hirsch Award winner for the 2013 football
season.  That is given annually to the
state’s top senior running back.  Floyd
ran for 2238 yards and 37 touchdowns in 12 games this season.

The Bucks turned it over 19 times in a 91-82 loss to Portland on Wednesday
night.  Luke Ridnour led the way with 13.
Ersan Ilyasova scored five points in his return from injury.  Caron Butler also returned from a shoulder
injury.  The Bucks have lost six straight
games.  They travel to Philadelphia on Friday night.


The Badger men’s basketball team hosts Bowling
tonight at the Kohl
.  Coverage begins at 6pm with the tip set for 7pm
on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.   Marquette is also home tonight as they host New Hampshire.


The Badger football team continues to get ready for Minnesota on
Saturday.  You’ll hear it on KFIZ.  Coverage begins at 12:30pm with the kickoff
at 2:30pm in Minneapolis.


The Packers head into a critical two game stretch on Sunday
as they host Minnesota.  With the Vikings, followed up by the Lions on
Thanksgiving Day, the Packers need to find a way to get a pair of wins to
seriously stay in the NFC playoff hunt. 
Sunday’s game kicks off at Noon.

The Detroit Tigers have traded first baseman Prince Fielder
and $30 million dollars in cash to the Texas Rangers for 2B Ian Kinsler.  By trading Fielder, the Tigers will be able
to move Miguel Cabrera to first base and also free up money to resign Cy Young
winner Max Scherzer who is a free agent after next season.
