Diego
5-0 on Wednesday night on the West Coast.  Rookie Zach Davis struck out six and gave up
just five hits in seven scoreless innings to pick up the win. The series wraps
up tonight as Taylor Jungmann takes on Ian Kennedy.  Coverage begins at 5:05pm with the 1st

the NFC’s Offensive Player of the Week for his 333 yard, 5 TD Monday Night
Football performance against the Chiefs.

 

The Packers have placed tight
end Andrew Quarless on Injured Reserve with Designation to Return after
injuring his knee in Monday night’s win over the Chiefs.  Quarless caught just two passes this
season.  He can return after 8 weeks.

 

Week 4 of the NFL season gets
underway tonight as Pittsburgh hosts Baltimore on Thursday
Night Football.  The Steelers will be
without quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.

 

The Badgers open up Big Ten
play on Saturday as they host Iowa at Camp Randall.  The Hawkeyes are 4-0 through non-conference
play. Coverage begins at 9am with the kickoff set for 11am on KFIZ.

 

The Fond du Lac girls golf
team finished 5th at the Oshkosh West Regional at Oshkosh Country
Club on Wednesday.  The Cardinals Hannah
Lange and Margaret Krolczyk both shot 94s and tied for 11th.  They will head to the Sectional as individual
qualifiers.

 

We’ve got a pair of high
school football games this weekend on KFIZ. 
On Friday night, Fond du Lac
hits the road to Hortonville for a VFA-South Division matchup.  A win by Fondy will clinch a share of the
league title. Our coverage begins at 5:30pm on Friday night with the Tim Cruz
Agency American Family Insurance Pregame Show. 
The kickoff is set for 7pm.

 

St. Mary’s Springs hosts WLA on Saturday for Homecoming
at Fruth.  That game kicks off at 1pm but
you can hear it on tape delay on KFIZ after Badger football about 4pm.
