The Packers and Vikings will square off in prime time on
Sunday night in Minneapolis.  Former Packer wide receiver Greg Jennings
talked to the Green Bay
media via conference call on Wednesday and back-tracked a bit on offseason
comments he made that questioned the leadership of Aaron Rodgers.  The Vikings also announced that quarterback
Josh Freeman has a concussion and Christian Ponder will likely start on Sunday
night.  The kickoff is set for 7:30pm on
Sunday night and you’ll hear it on KFIZ.

CBS is reporting that Jermichael Finley could be released
from a Green Bay
area hospital today.

The Boston Red Sox hammered the St. Louis Cardinals 8-1 in
Game 1 of the World Series last night.
The Reds Sox scored 3 in the first and 2 in the 2nd inning
off of Cardinal starter Adam Wainwright to secure the win.  Jon Lester picked up the win.  David Ortiz and Mike Napoli each drove in 3
for the Red Sox.  Ortiz was also robbed
of a grand slam by Carlos Beltran on a catch that sent him to the hospital with
a rib injury.  Game 2 is tonight in Boston.

The Bucks picked up their first preseason win by defeating
the New York Knicks 105-95 last night at the Resch
Center in Green Bay. Caron Butler scored 22 and OJ Mayo
added 20 in the win.  Milwaukee
wraps up the preseason on Friday night when they host Toronto

NBA Commissioner David Stern called the progress of a
possible new arena for the Milwaukee Bucks “relatively upbeat.”  The Bucks lease on the BMO Harris Bradley Center
runs through 2017.  If a new arena deal
is not in place by then, the franchise could be on the move if Senator Herb
Kohl would decide to sell the team.
