win keeps Milwaukee, tied with Atlanta,
1.5 games behind Pittsburgh for the final N.L
.Wild Card spot and inches them within five games of St. Louis in the N.L. Central.   In the division, Pittsburgh
beats the Phillies 6-3, the Reds tops the Cards 4-2, and Toronto was an 11-1 winner over the Cubs. The

Week 2 of the NFL season
kicks off tonight as Baltimore hosts Pittsburgh

 

The Packers host the New
York Jets on Sunday at Lambeau Field. 
They hope to have Eddie Lacy back as he continues to move through the
NFL’s concussion protocol.  Tackle Brian
Bulaga and tight end Brandon Bostick will try and get through today’s full
practice in pads today.  Sunday’s game
kicks off at 3:25pm.  Coverage begins at

The family of Packer Hall of
Famer Bart Starr says he had a mild stroke and is currently recovering in the
hospital.  The family in a statement says
they hope he is able to make a full recovery. 

 

France upset Spain
65-53 in the quarterfinals of the FIBA Basketball World Cup on Wednesday to
earn a semifinal spot against Serbia.  The United States
plays Lithuania
today in a semifinal game.
