Aramis Ramirez homered and Ryan Braun drove in a pair as the Brewers edged San Diego 4-3 at Miller Park on Monday night.  Wily Peralta went six and a third, striking out six, giving up 3 runs and 6 hits to notch the win.  Frankie Rodriguez picked up his 8th save of the season.  The series continues tonight as Yovani Gallardo takes on Ian Kennedy. Phil Jackson’s first official duty as team president for the New York Knicks was to fire head coach Mike Woodson.  He led the Knicks to 54 wins and a division crown in 2013-14.  This year the Knicks went 37-45 and missed the playoffs.  Ty Corbin is also out as head coach of the Utah Jazz.

An American has won the Boston Marathon for the first time since 1983.  Meb Keflezighi won the historic race in a time of 2 hours, 8 minutes, 37 seconds.
