The Connecticut Huskies won
their fourth NCAA men’s basketball title with a 60-54 win over Kentucky last night in North Texas.  Shabazz Napier scored 22 points and was named
the Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four.

 

UConn and Notre Dame will
meet in the NCAA women’s title game tonight in Nashville
Both teams are unbeaten.

 

The Brewers game at Philadelphia was rained
out on Monday.  They will try and play
this afternoon.  Kyle Lohse gets the
start for the Brewers while Kyle Kendrick gets the nod for the Phillies.  Coverage begins at 2:30pm on News-Talk 1450
KFIZ.  The first pitch is set for 3pm.

Joey Lagano passed Jeff
Gordon on the final lap to win the NASCAR Sprint Cup race in Texas on Monday.  The race had been rained out on Sunday. Kyle
Busch was 3rd.  Matt Kenseth
finished 7th.  Dale Earnhardt,
Junior crashed early and finished 43rd.  It’s his first last place finish since
2007. 

 

Rain washed out most of the
day at Augusta National as players get ready for Thursday’s first round of The
Masters.  Fans were evacuated from the
course by mid-morning and it did not reopen for the first time since 2003.
