Ryan Braun went 3×4 with a
homer as the Brewers thumped San Diego 10-1 in
game one of their three game set in California.  Braun left the game in the 7th with
a bruised quad.  Aramis Ramierz also hit
his 14th dinger of the season in the win.  Kyle Lohise gave up 1 run and 4 hits in six
innings to improve his record to 12-7.  The

The Cardinals remain 1.5
games behind the Brewers in the National League Central.  Pittsburgh
falls six games off the pace. The idle Reds drop to 10 games back.

 

The Packers got veteran
defensive tackle LeTroy Guion back on the practice field on Monday.  He had been on the non-football injury
list.  He should help ease the loss of BJ
Raji, who tore a biceps on Friday night and is lost for the season.

 

The Badger football team is
gearing up for their season opener against LSU on Saturday night in Houston.  You’ll hear it on KFIZ.  Coverage begins at 6pm with the kickoff set
for 8pm.

 

Tiger Woods has fired his
swing coach Sean Foley.  He has been
tutoring Woods for the past four seasons. 
Woods doesn’t have a time table as to when he’ll return to active golf
as he continues to struggle with back problems.
