The Green Bay Packers held
on to beat the Atlanta Falcons 43-37 on Monday Night Football at Lambeau
Field.  Green Bay
looked on the way to another blowout win, building a 31-7 halftime lead, but Atlanta rode wide
receiver Julio Jones to a furious comeback that fell just six points
short.  Jones caught 11 balls for 259
yards and a touchdown before the Packers ran off the final 3+ minutes to secure
their 10th win of the season.
Aaron Rodgers threw for 327 yards and 3 TDs.  Two of those TD tosses when to Jordy Nelson
who grabbed 8 passes for 146 yards.
Eddie Lacy ran for a score and caught a TD pass.  Green
holds on to the #2 seed in the NFC with a 10-3
record.  They travel to Buffalo on Sunday.

Badger running back Melvin
Gordon is one of three finalists for the Heisman Trophy.   The Badger junior will be joined in New York by Alabama wide
reciever Amari Cooper and the heavy favorite to win the award, Oregon quarterback
Marcus Mariata.

Kentucky is #1 in both college basketball polls, followed by
Duke, Arizona, and Louisville
is #5 in the AP Poll and #6 in the Coaches Poll.  The Badgers play at Milwaukee on Wednesday night.
