Packers coach Mike McCarthy
met the media on Monday to introduce the new members of his coaching staff,
that included former Florida and Illinois head coach Ron
Zook as a special teams assistant and Sam Gash as the new running backs coach.
Returning assistants Winston Moss now will coach all the linebackers and Alex
Van Pelt moves from RB coach to QB coach.

 

The Boston Celtics stopped
the Bucks 102-89 last night at BMO

.  Brandon Knight had 22 to lead Milwaukee. The Bucks
turned it over 21 times last night. 
Larry Sanders missed the game and 
is out indefinitely with a broken bone around his eye. The Bucks host New Orleans on Wednesday

In college hoops tonight, Marquette is on the road
at Seton Hall. 

 

The Badger men’s basketball
team is back in the rankings for both college basketball polls.  UW is #21 in both the AP and the Coaches
Poll.  Syracuse remains #1.  The Badgers host Minnesota on Thursday night.  You’ll hear it on KFIZ.

 

Fond du Lac High School senior Michael Wilson is nominated for the
wissports.net Athlete of the Week.  Wilson helped the Cardinals to the Badgerland
Tournament title on Saturday. He scored 2 goals and added 2 in a 8-1 win over
Waupun on Tuesday, scored 2 goals in a 4-1 victory over Appleton United on
Friday, and scored 2 goals and added an assist in their 5-0 win over St. Mary’s
Springs in the championship game.    Click
