Wisconsin men’s basketball team holds steady at #5 in this week’s Associated Press Poll and #4 in the Coaches Poll this week.

Kentucky is #1 in poll polls.

Senior Frank Kaminsky hase been named the Big Ten Player of the Week for the 3rd time this season. It’s the fifth time he’s won the award in
his career. The Badgers travel to

State on Wednesday night. You’ll hear it on KFIZ.

Brandon Bostick’s career in

Green Bay is apparently over. The tight end tweeted out on Monday that he has been released by the team. There were high expectations for Bostick
heading into the season but lack of production and injury derailed his campaign. That was all over-shadowed by a missed assignment on the onside
kick in the NFC Championship Game.

The Badgers have a few changes on their coaching staff. Running backs coach Thomas Brown has left the team to take the same position at

Georgia. They also hired Ted Gilmore as wide receivers coach. Gilmore had been with the Oakland Raiders.

Multiple media reports say that the Bucks are working on a buy-out to Larry Sanders contract. Sanders hasn’t played since December 23rd because
of personal reasons, injury, and a 12-game suspension. He had signed a 4-year, $44 million dollar extension.

Fond du Lac
High School alum Tony Smit recently hit a basketball milestone never seen before in the history of

University and the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference. The senior guard grabbed his 500th career rebound this
past weekend against

College. Smit becomes the first player in school and conference history to record 1,500 points, 500 assists, and
500 rebounds in a collegiate career. The Wolves coached by Fondy native Drew Diener are currently 21-7 and
ranked #16 in the country.

The St. Mary’s

Academy boys basketball team picked up a 71-60 non-conference win at Cedar Grove-Belgium on Monday night in a game you heard on KFIZ. Brennen
Ottery had 17, Collin Ottery 15, and Cory Nies 10 in the win. The victory improves the Ledgers to 14-5 on the season. They travel to Winnebago
Lutheran on Thursday night. You’ll hear it on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.
