The Brewers shutout the Cubs 5-0 on Monday night at Wrigley Field.  Milwaukee scored all five runs in the top of the 9th inning.  The teams will play a doubleheader today.  Coverage of game 1 starts at 12:45pm.  Game two coverage begins at 6:30pm on KFIZ.

 

Boomer Passes Away
One of the first true stars of the Milwaukee Brewers has died.  George “Boomer” Scott played for the Brewers from 1972 to 1976.  He was 69 years old.

 

Packers
The Packers hit the practice field again today after taking Monday off.  The team will workout at 8:20am.  The practice will be open to the public weather permitting. The Packers signed WR Omarius Hines and safety Chris Banjo on Monday.  They cut safety Ryan McMahon. The Family Night Scrimmage is Saturday night at Lambeau Fieldwith the preseason opener on Friday, August 9th against Arizona.  You’re home for Packers football is News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.
