off of Marco Estrada and that was all they needed in a 3-2 win over the Brewers
on Monday night at Miller
Park
. Cole Hamels picked
up the win.  Jeff Bianchi drove in the
Brewers only runs in the 5th
Milwaukee
had terrible base running last night getting thrown out at 3rd for
the first out of the inning 3 times.  The
series continues tonight.  Coverage

The World Cup
gets going today with semifinal action as Brazil
plays Germany
at 3pm today.  Tomorrow it’s the Netherlands and Argentina in the other
semifinal.  The World Cup Final is on
Sunday.

 

The Miami Heat
have added a few pieces to the puzzle. 
Free agents Danny Granger and Josh McRoberts have agreed to deals.  Meanwhile Heat free agent Chris Bosh is
meeting with Houston and nobody is quite sure what LeBron James is up today
after opting out of his deal in Miami.
  Free agent Carmelo Anthony is
reportedly down to the Knicks, Bulls, and Lakers on his free agent tour.

 

The Brooklyn
Nets have hired Lionel Hollins as their new head coach, replacing Jason Kidd.
